Senior Scheduling / Planning Engineer (Offshore) in Abu Dhabi

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer to join its offshore project team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports project controls for an oil & gas facility in the Eastern Region, working closely with the Project Management team and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project controls team across multiple offshore projects, ensuring accurate schedule, cost, and risk reporting.
• Review early‑stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) for cost, schedule and risk compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, load‑out and installation schedules.
• Perform progress measurement, earned value management and critical path analysis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, recovery schedules and resource loading plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, construction or project management.
• Minimum 15 years of EPC project experience, including at least 10 years in offshore fabrication project controls.
• Proven experience with offshore jacket fabrication projects.

Required skills

• Advanced user of Primavera P6 for schedule development and analysis.
