Senior Site Auditor - Construction

About the role

The Senior Site Auditor conducts audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and regulatory standards. The role evaluates project execution, identifies non-conformities and recommends corrective actions so that projects follow company policies and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular and surprise site audits against quality, health and safety and environmental standards, checking alignment with approved drawings, specifications and contracts, and run internal ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits
• Monitor QA/QC processes, material usage, workmanship and testing, and verify MIR, WIR and test reports; recommend corrective actions for defects and rework
• Carry out HSE audits covering OSHA, NEBOSH and local regulations, risk assessments, method statements, PPE, fire safety, scaffolding and waste management
• Prepare audit reports, maintain a database of NCRs and CAPs, and submit monthly audit summaries to management
• Assess risks, conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to construction methods and quality control
• Work with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC and HSE teams, and with subcontractors and suppliers
• Run awareness sessions, toolbox talks and training on ISO standards, internal audit procedures and safety regulations

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of construction auditing, quality control and HSE standards
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA and NEBOSH
• Experience with audit management software and compliance tracking tools
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, leadership and teamwork skills
