Senior Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead sustenance‑track projects and technical initiatives for our Core Banking platform in Abu Dhabi. The role involves designing solution architectures, driving enhancements, and ensuring system optimisation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sustenance projects and technical initiatives for the Core Banking platform.
• Review and design solution architectures for enhancements, integrations, and optimisation.
• Coordinate with business, technology, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams.
• Drive architecture reviews, technical assessments, defect remediation, and performance improvements.
• Support capacity planning, end‑of‑day optimisation, platform modernisation, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project planning, risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in Core Banking implementation, support or transformation.
• Strong Oracle FLEXCUBE architecture and solution design experience.
• Hands‑on project delivery experience, preferably in retail and corporate banking.
• Experience managing banking projects, vendors and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Oracle FLEXCUBE technical and functional expertise.
• Oracle Database performance tuning, integrations and data modelling.
• WebLogic, REST/SOAP/API, Integration/ESB and Kafka.
• Java, JavaScript, Microservices.
• Tools: JIRA, GitHub, Postman (Kubernetes is a plus).
