Senior Solutions Architect (Presales) - Cloud & Managed Services

About the role

Bespin Global is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (presales) to win and shape cloud and managed services opportunities across UAE enterprise and government accounts. Working with Account Managers, the role owns the technical win end to end, from qualification and discovery through solution design, pricing and negotiation to signed contract and handover to Service Delivery. It combines deep architecture expertise across Azure, AWS and hybrid environments with strong commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical win and co-own deal closure with Account Managers, from qualification through to signed contract
• Build commercial models (pricing, BoQ, effort estimation, cloud consumption and TCO/ROI) and lead negotiations, contract and SOW finalisation
• Leverage vendor funding and incentive programs (e.g. Microsoft/AWS investment funds, migration and PoC funding)
• Analyse customer requirements and design secure, scalable cloud and hybrid solutions; lead discovery workshops, architecture assessments, demos and proofs of concept
• Ensure a clear handover of won deals to Service Delivery
• Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs and government tenders, and present solutions to executives
• Manage strategic enterprise and government accounts, maintain account plans and heatmaps, and report on account performance
• Design solutions aligned with UAE regulatory and data-residency requirements (UAE IA/NESA, DESC, ADHICS, TDRA) and local sovereign cloud options
• Create technical and sales materials, deliver webinars, and take part in joint planning with Microsoft and AWS partners

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Information Systems or a related field; Master's is an advantage
• 10+ years in IT, with at least 6+ years in pre-sales, solution architecture or technical consulting at a cloud provider, systems integrator or managed services provider
• Proven track record of closing large enterprise and government deals in the UAE/GCC, and leading RFP responses and negotiations
• One mandatory certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional or GCP Professional Cloud Architect
• Fluent English (Arabic is good to have); based in Abu Dhabi with willingness to travel
