Senior Structural Engineer – Site

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead on‑site structural engineering activities for building projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure design integrity, safety and quality while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all structural and civil engineering activities on‑site, ensuring compliance with designs, specifications and codes.
• Conduct detailed inspections, quality audits and testing to verify workmanship and material compliance.
• Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings and construction methodologies before implementation.
• Manage structural testing programmes, including material, load and non‑destructive testing.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, maintaining organized project records using BIM and project‑management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) with 10+ years of experience, including 5 years in senior site supervision.
• Proven ability to manage complex high‑rise, commercial or mixed‑use projects and to work with international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and UAE regulations.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, with experience coordinating clients, contractors and authorities.
