Senior Structural Engineer – Super Highrise

About the role

Azizi is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with deep expertise in super‑high‑rise construction to lead the structural design, analysis and construction phases of the Burj Azizi project (134 floors). The role involves ensuring structural integrity, safety and compliance with both international and UAE standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and review of structural designs for foundations, cores and load‑bearing systems of super‑high‑rise buildings.
• Perform advanced analysis of wind, seismic and dynamic loads, and optimise designs for safety, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Provide technical leadership during construction, conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues with contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) and professional accreditation (PE, CEng or SE).
• 12‑15 years of structural engineering experience, including at least 5 years on projects over 50 stories or 200 m, preferably in the UAE or GCC.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit or Tekla Structures.
• Expertise in wind tunnel testing, seismic design and dynamic structural analysis.
• Strong knowledge of advanced construction materials such as steel and concrete composites.
