About the role
The Senior Supervisor – Banquets leads the banquet team at Sheraton Sharjah, ensuring seamless service delivery, guest satisfaction, and adherence to brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure staff work together as a team and maintain proper grooming and attire.
- Set up banquet areas, inspect cleanliness, furniture and equipment, and maintain table set‑ups according to group requirements and company standards.
- Communicate with guests and other departments to meet guest needs and fulfill special banquet arrangements.
- Document relevant information in department logbooks and report safety or security issues.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to work standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
Required skills
- Clear and professional communication.
- Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
