Senior Technical Account Manager

About the role

Join Qualys in Dubai as a Senior Technical Account Manager, where you will combine deep technical expertise with business insight to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the full sales and procurement lifecycle and ensuring successful adoption of our security platform.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑level technical presentations and Proof‑of‑Value demonstrations to showcase platform capabilities.
• Prepare and respond to RFI/RFP requests, creating persuasive technical content for deal formalisation.
• Identify, qualify and drive upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, coordinating with partners and distributors.
• Own renewal strategy, working directly with customers and channel partners to secure year‑over‑year contract extensions.
• Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline in the CRM, providing accurate forecasts and early visibility of procurement events.
• Support customer procurement processes, including technical inputs to RFPs/RFQs, Bill‑of‑Materials validation and license mapping.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships at all organisational levels, serving as the primary point of contact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing technical role within IT or cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate value and drive account expansion.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with channel partners, distributors or resellers.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles from technical validation through renewal.
