Senior Tendering & Contracts Manager

About the role

The Senior Tendering & Contracts Manager will lead the end‑to‑end tendering process for MEP projects, ensuring technical compliance, accurate cost estimation and commercial viability. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver competitive, risk‑managed bids.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full tender cycle from receipt of documents to final submission, reviewing drawings, specifications, BOQs and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors, overheads and profit margins.
• Negotiate and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, maintaining up‑to‑date cost databases.
• Review contractual terms, payment schedules, bonds, warranties and identify commercial or pricing risks.
• Coordinate with client engineering, procurement and project teams, and participate in clarification meetings and commercial negotiations.
• Lead and review tender submissions prepared by team members, establish checking procedures and report status and risks to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MEP tender preparation and submission in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial risk management and value engineering principles.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
