Senior TMT/Digital Associate Solicitor (6-8 PQE) – Dubai

About the role

A leading international law firm is expanding its Dubai TMT practice and seeks an experienced Senior Associate solicitor (6‑8 PQE) to work on high‑value technology, media and telecommunications matters across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate technology transactions and complex commercial agreements.
• Manage IT procurement, outsourcing and major technology projects, including cloud, SaaS and software licensing.
• Advise on telecommunications and digital infrastructure matters.
• Handle data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and IP licensing/commercialisation.
• Support FinTech, digital platforms, AI and emerging technology projects.
• Provide guidance on technology‑related regulatory and compliance issues.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a leading international or Legal 500‑ranked firm.
• Strong background in TMT, technology transactions and complex commercial contracts.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex mandates independently.
• Experience working with sophisticated regional and international clients.
• Middle East experience advantageous; candidates from the UK, Australia, New Zealand or other common‑law jurisdictions are welcome.
