Senior Vice President – Development

About the role

Al Ghurair is seeking a senior leader to drive its development strategy for new and existing residential projects in Dubai. The role involves translating land, market and investment objectives into clear product definitions, positioning and delivery plans.

Key responsibilities

• Execute development strategy, prepare feasibility assessments, business plans and manage unit mix, pricing, revenue and cost models.
• Lead residential product definition, design management and consultant coordination from concept through detailed design.
• Oversee sales‑launch readiness, pricing recommendations, inventory strategy and authority approvals.
• Maintain ownership of the development business plan, identify risks and opportunities, and provide concise analysis to senior management.
• Report on performance metrics, programme, approvals and drive issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 10+ years of real‑estate development experience, primarily in Dubai residential build‑to‑sell projects.
• Proven track record across the full development lifecycle and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of P&L, cash flow and development cost drivers.
• Excellent communication, analytical and influencing skills.
