Senior Vice President – Master Planning

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Master Planning will lead the creation and delivery of master plans for Aldar’s government and development projects, overseeing the process from concept through detailed design and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Review master plan and detailed submittals from internal teams and consultants.
• Provide advisory support on master planning matters during construction.
• Manage selection, contracts and performance of master planning consultants, ensuring quality, budget and schedule compliance.
• Prepare RFPs, process payments and variations for service contracts.
• Coordinate master planning approvals with external stakeholders and government entities.
• Produce regular progress updates, monthly reports and assess impacts on timeline and cost.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities to reduce cost and time.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in real‑estate architecture or design of residential, mixed‑use and vertical assets.
• At least 4 years in a managerial position within a GCC real‑estate developer.
• Deep exposure to the GCC region and adjacent markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or equivalent; postgraduate technical degree preferred.
