Service Personnel – Campus Support

About the role

The American University in the Emirates is looking for a dedicated Service Personnel to ensure a clean, organized and welcoming campus environment. You will support daily operations by assisting visitors, staff and handling a variety of housekeeping and clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, offices and corridors at all times.
• Empty waste bins, recyclables and other waste according to schedule.
• Dust and clean light fixtures, ceilings and high areas using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
• Clean and polish office furniture and equipment.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment for cleaning, events and relocations.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or maintenance issues.
• Stock and maintain pantries; arrange refreshments for university events.
• Report building maintenance issues observed during duties.
• Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational requirements.
• Flexibility with working hours and shift schedules.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Salary of AED 2,500 per month.
