Site Engineer

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities on the Al Jurf project, a mixed building and villa‑compound development in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising works, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities in line with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor progress and provide daily reports to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, HSE procedures and local authority regulations.
• Support short‑term planning, sequencing and look‑ahead schedules.
• Identify and report technical issues or deviations on site.
• Assist with inspections, snagging and hand‑over processes.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports and site documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience on building projects and villa‑compound developments.
• Proven experience on UAE projects, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality certification is an advantage.
