Site Inspector – Architecture

About the role

The Site Inspector – Architecture will carry out on‑site inspections of architectural works throughout the construction phase, ensuring that all works conform to approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements and relevant UAE codes. Reporting to the Senior Site Engineer – Architecture, the role supports the delivery of high‑quality, safe and compliant building projects across commercial, residential and mixed‑use sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of architectural elements, finishes and installations to verify compliance with design documents and quality standards.
• Identify and document non‑conformances, issue corrective actions and follow up with contractors and consultants.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, punch‑list items and progress updates to the project team.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary site supervision teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural works with structural, MEP and civil activities.
• Monitor adherence to UAE Building Codes, health‑and‑safety regulations and project‑specific construction practices.
• Assist in the review of shop drawings, material submittals and as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in architectural site supervision.
• At least 3 years experience on building projects within the UAE or GCC.
• Experience working in an engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Building Codes and local construction practices.
• Experience on commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed‑use or high‑rise developments.
• Professional membership is desirable but not mandatory.
