Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Site Reliability Engineer will support and maintain Open Innovation AI's AI workload management platform across customer environments, including secure, isolated on‑premises deployments. The role focuses on ensuring availability, stability, and performance of complex AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve incidents across hardware, Linux OS, Kubernetes clusters, containerized services, middleware, and platform components.
• Validate and execute approved changes, perform on‑site health assessments, and collaborate with Systems Engineering to address performance issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, participate in post‑incident reviews, and provide guidance to L1 and Service Desk teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or Platform Engineering in on‑prem or secure environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Linux system administration and performance tuning.
• Kubernetes, container runtimes, and distributed systems.
• Middleware and data‑layer technologies such as Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers.
• Certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD/CKS (preferred).
