Social Media Executive – Events & Conferences

About the role

The Great Minds Group is seeking a creative Social Media Executive to support its portfolio of international conferences and exhibitions, including the Intelligent & Autonomous Defence Systems event. You will drive social media growth and engagement for event‑focused channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow event social media pages on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Research and share industry, market, and competitor updates.
• Create engaging content and maintain social media calendars.
• Coordinate with designers, marketing managers, and production teams.
• Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools.
• Monitor engagement, community interactions, and respond as needed.
• Produce performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Support onsite event coverage, including live posting, stories, and interviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of social media marketing experience.
• Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
• Experience with LinkedIn and B2B marketing preferred.
• Familiarity with Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
• Background in events, exhibitions, conferences, or media is an advantage.
• Based in the UAE.
