Software Engineer - Advent APX

About the role

A software engineer is sought to modernize and optimize enterprise investment management platforms built on Advent APX, based in Dubai. The role combines .NET development, MS SQL, automation, APIs, CI/CD and AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and deliver next-generation fintech solutions. The experience level required is 5+ years.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and optimize the Advent APX platform
• Develop backend services and integrations using .NET (C#)
• Design scalable application architecture supporting enterprise investment operations, ensuring reliability, performance and security
• Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects
• Build automated testing frameworks with Playwright or equivalent tools
• Design CI/CD pipelines and automate inefficient operational workflows
• Integrate modern APIs and microservices using Node.js and .NET
• Explore AI technologies and LLM-based automation opportunities
• Support production issues and work with Product, Infrastructure and Development teams

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience
• Knowledge of Advent APX
• Preferred: wealth management or investment domain experience
