Sonographer – Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our state‑of‑the‑art hospital in Sharjah. You will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, ensuring high‑quality diagnostic images and exceptional patient care while collaborating closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct abdominal, obstetric, vascular, pediatric, and general ultrasound studies.
• Prepare and position patients safely, providing clear communication throughout procedures.
• Operate and monitor ultrasound equipment and RIS/PACS imaging systems to produce diagnostic‑grade images.
• Assist radiologists and physicians in accurate diagnosis and clinical decision‑making.
• Maintain precise patient records, reports, and imaging data in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support sterile techniques during specialized examinations and contribute to quality‑assurance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Diagnostic Imaging.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification experience in sonography.
• Valid DOH/DHA license (or eligibility) as a Sonographer.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of sonographic procedures and imaging protocols.
