Spa Therapist Team Leader

About the role

The Spa Therapist Team Leader will guide and inspire a team of therapists to deliver exceptional spa experiences for guests at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. This role combines hands‑on treatment expertise with leadership and operational responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate the spa therapist team to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
• Guarantee all treatments follow brand standards and established protocols.
• Monitor therapist performance, productivity and service quality.
• Conduct training, coaching sessions and performance evaluations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service‑related concerns professionally.
• Assist in scheduling therapists according to business demand and bookings.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Support inventory control and proper usage of spa products.
• Promote spa services and retail products to maximise revenue.
• Assist the Spa Manager with daily reports and operational tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Certified Spa Therapist with recognised qualifications.
• 3–5 years of experience in a spa environment; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of massage, facial and body treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
