Specialist Cardiologist

About the role

Royal Health Al Salam Specialized Hospital in Abu Dhabi is looking for a highly qualified and dedicated Specialist Cardiologist to join its healthcare team. The position is full-time and involves performing the duties of a cardiologist under the privileges approved by the hospital's Credential Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
• Provide consultation services for outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests such as echocardiography, ECG, stress testing and Holter monitoring.
• Take full responsibility for patient care in cardiology clinics, emergency consultations and admitted cases, and develop treatment and management plans.
• Supervise and guide General Practitioners according to the duty roster.
• Take part in quality improvement initiatives and comply with organizational standards and clinical guidelines.
• Carry out other duties within the specialty assigned by Clinic Management.

Required profile

• Primary medical degree with board specialization in Cardiology.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cardiology.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility.
