Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician to provide prompt and effective care to patients with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries and life-threatening emergencies. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute medical and surgical emergencies
• Perform emergency stabilization, resuscitation and life-saving interventions
• Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress and other critical conditions
• Prioritize patients by clinical urgency and ensure timely treatment
• Perform emergency procedures and coordinate investigations
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals
• Arrange admissions, referrals and transfers when needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of emergency care

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine such as MD, DNB or an equivalent specialty qualification
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in emergency resuscitation, trauma management and acute patient care
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication and teamwork skills
