Specialist Endodontist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Endodontist to work on site. The specialist diagnoses and treats diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and root canal system, helping patients preserve their natural teeth through advanced endodontic care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and root canal system
• Perform primary and complex root canal treatments
• Manage dental trauma, pulp infections and periapical diseases
• Carry out endodontic retreatment and other specialised procedures as needed
• Use dental imaging and magnification techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Evaluate patients and develop individualised treatment plans
• Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists
• Educate patients on treatment options and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow infection control protocols

Required profile

• BDS or equivalent dental degree
• MDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Endodontics
• At least 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in complex root canal treatments, retreatment and dental trauma management
