Specialist Gastroenterologist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions, while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
• Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic investigations, including endoscopic procedures.
• Provide acute and chronic care management, ensuring accurate and confidential medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical discussions, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Specialization in Gastroenterology with valid medical registration/license.
• Relevant post‑specialization clinical experience as a Gastroenterologist.
• Eligibility for DHA Specialist Gastroenterology registration/licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
