About the role
We are seeking an experienced Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves diagnosing and surgically managing a range of gastrointestinal disorders.
Key responsibilities
- Perform open and minimally invasive procedures on the stomach, intestines, colon, and other digestive organs.
- Manage conditions such as intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal cancers, hernias, and inflammatory bowel diseases requiring surgery.
- Provide pre‑operative assessments, develop individualized surgical plans, and deliver post‑operative care.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
Required profile
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree with postgraduate qualification in General Surgery and specialization in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- Minimum 3 years of post‑specialization experience preferred.
- Experience in both open and laparoscopic gastrointestinal procedures.
