Specialist Lifting Operations – Offshore WHTs, Subsea Cable & Piping B/Fs

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Specialist in Lifting Operations to lead complex offshore activities on a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on the safe installation of wire‑rope hoisting tools (WHTs), subsea cables and piping bridge frames.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute offshore lifting operations for WHTs, subsea cables and piping bridge frames.
• Prepare, review and approve lifting studies, lift plans and method statements in line with client specifications and HSE regulations.
• Conduct rigging checks, toolbox talks and risk assessments before each lift.
• Supervise on‑site lifting crews, ensuring equipment certification and readiness.
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues during lifts and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, marine, construction and HSE teams to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience with strong offshore exposure.
• Relevant offshore certifications such as BOSIET and HUET.
• Previous PMC experience and familiarity with ADNOC projects is an advantage.
