Specialist Nephrologist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Nephrologist to diagnose and manage kidney diseases, providing comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic renal conditions. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, electrolyte imbalances and hypertension-related kidney disorders.
• Manage patients requiring dialysis and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Assess patients with complex renal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret renal function tests, laboratory investigations and imaging studies.
• Manage complications of kidney diseases and renal replacement therapy.
• Collaborate with urologists, intensivists and other specialists.
• Educate patients on kidney health, treatment options and lifestyle changes, and maintain accurate medical records.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or equivalent, followed by DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Nephrology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience managing renal diseases and dialysis patients.
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic and patient communication skills.
