Specialist Ophthalmologist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care, diagnose and treat eye disorders and help patients maintain and improve their vision. The position is based on site in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye diseases and vision-related conditions
• Carry out comprehensive eye examinations and assess visual function
• Treat conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and retinal disorders
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of clinical expertise
• Manage patients with corneal disorders, eye infections and other ocular conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Provide preventive eye care and educate patients on eye health
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MS, MD, DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of ophthalmic conditions
