Specialist Orthodontist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Orthodontist to work on site. The specialist diagnoses and corrects dental and jaw alignment problems, offering advanced orthodontic treatments that improve patients' oral health, function and smiles.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose malocclusion, misaligned teeth and jaw irregularities
• Develop customized treatment plans for children, adolescents and adults
• Treat patients with fixed braces, clear aligners and other appliances
• Monitor progress and adjust appliances
• Evaluate dental and facial development and recommend interventions
• Manage complex cases and collaborate with other dental specialists
• Educate patients on oral hygiene during treatment and keep accurate patient records

Required profile

• BDS or equivalent dental degree
• MDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics
• At least 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience with fixed appliances and clear aligners

Required skills

• Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills
• Excellent patient communication
