Specialist Trade Finance Operations

About the role

This position is responsible for processing and authorising trade finance transactions for International Operations across multiple regions while ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and service standards. The role also provides backup support for UAE Trade Finance Operations and may require work across various shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Process and authorise trade finance transactions in line with the approval matrix and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor compliance with sanctions, anti‑money‑laundering rules and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate process‑related risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare accurate statements, reports and statistical data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support new system testing, multi‑desk operations and staff performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in trade finance covering all product types.
• Strong knowledge of ICC rules, local laws, UCP, URC, ISBP and URDG.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including US business hours and weekends as needed.
