Speech & Language Therapist (Sakina)

About the role

Provides quality professional services in the evaluation and treatment of patients with speech, language, cognitive, fluency, voice, swallowing and feeding disorders and associated communication problems.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of patients with developmental speech and language delays, social communication disorders, dysfluency and motor speech disorders.
• Develop and implement specialised treatment plans for individuals and groups, targeting attention, auditory processing, language expression, and speech production.
• Advise caregivers and professionals on management of communication and oro‑motor difficulties, setting and reviewing specific therapeutic targets.
• Conduct comprehensive case histories and use standardised assessments to establish baseline measures and differential diagnoses.
• Deliver therapy interventions integrated into patients’ daily routines and collaborate with internal and external agencies.
• Monitor equipment, ensure infection control procedures, and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Speech and Hearing Sciences or Speech‑Language Pathology (NLT).
• Strong communication skills in Arabic are desirable.

Required skills

• Conducting standardised speech and language assessments.
• Clinical reasoning for differential diagnosis and intervention planning.
