Sr. Designer

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the development of structural designs and engineering drawings for industrial construction projects. The role focuses on integrating contract specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards while delivering innovative, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and engineering drawings that meet specifications, client needs, and government regulations.
• Identify creative solutions that reduce manpower, cost, and schedule while differentiating AMANA from competitors.
• Research advanced construction technologies and incorporate them into design processes.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities to obtain fast approvals and ensure compliance.
• Review and approve architectural, civil, MEP, and steel/cladding drawings for compatibility.
• Manage the issuance of “Issued for Construction” drawings and oversee drawing submittals.
• Supervise and train junior designers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural design and analysis within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of local authority regulations and permitting processes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve design conflicts.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients, consultants, and authorities.
