Staff Nurse – OPD Dermatology (Al Khawaneej Clinic)

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide direct, age‑specific patient‑centered care in the OPD Dermatology unit of Al Khawaneej Clinic, supporting paediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using problem‑focused, age‑appropriate techniques and document findings in the medical record.
• Coordinate and prioritize care plans with a multidisciplinary team, including initiating transfers and responding to emergencies.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure nursing care, book appointments, follow up on diagnostic results, and ensure patient education at discharge.
• Maintain clinic supplies, equipment, crash cart checks, and report preventive maintenance needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, unit committees, continuous quality improvement activities, and mandatory education (e.g., fire safety, infection control).

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) and a valid license in the home country or last place of employment.
• Minimum two years of recent post‑graduate clinical experience, preferably in dermatology or OPD settings.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Ability to assess physical and psychological needs of patients and families, and to collaborate with physicians and other health‑care professionals.
