Staff Nurse – Tower B5 (Medical Wing)

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower B5 of the Medical Wing is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, delivering direct patient care, and providing education to patients and families. The role supports professional nursing practice across the care continuum while upholding SSMC's mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse assessment data covering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with measurable outcomes, involving patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policies.
• Document all aspects of the care plan, including modifications, in the patient’s health record.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain a working knowledge of resources and adhere to professional codes of conduct.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Commitment to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care effectively.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
