Stakeholder Coordinator (UAE Nationals)

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Stakeholder Coordinator (UAE Nationals) to join its team in Dubai, UAE. The role covers a variety of coordination tasks, mainly around obtaining approvals and NOCs for infrastructure and building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of drawings and documentation for NOCs.
• Liaise with the client internally and externally, and with government offices and service authorities in the UAE on technical queries and issues.
• Track utility NOCs and make sure they are completed on time.
• Work with agencies, authorities and the client team to obtain the necessary approvals and NOCs.
• Attend coordination meetings and support the design team through the NOC process.
• Take part in project design meetings and suggest improvements.
• Collect information from agencies, third-party consultants and contractors to prepare weekly and monthly reports and design drawings for management and clients.
• Attend project meetings and follow up on outstanding tasks, plus complete other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Must be a UAE National; a UAE driver's licence is ideal.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a NOC role, preferably in the infrastructure industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; candidates with 2-3 years of experience are preferred, and fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proven experience dealing with government authorities in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and their NOC system.
• Experience with the approval process for infrastructure and building projects with the relevant statutory authority in Dubai.

Required skills

• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is preferable.
• Good time management, prioritisation and leadership qualities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including external stakeholders.
