Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Store Manager leads the daily operations of a retail outlet within Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, driving sales performance, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. You will be accountable for team development, brand representation, and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of customer service across the store team at all times.
• Develop innovative initiatives to attract new customers, increase foot traffic, and boost profitability.
• Monitor stock levels, identify best‑sellers and slow‑moving items, and create action plans to improve sales.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, security, cash handling, and record‑keeping standards.
• Coach, train and mentor staff to enhance product knowledge and service quality.
• Oversee health, safety, and security policies, reporting concerns promptly.
• Plan and execute in‑store processes such as cash intake, stockroom management, and inventory counts.
• Provide analytical feedback to Operations, Buying and Planning on product performance, pricing and competitive activity.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of retail industry experience with a proven managerial background.
• Demonstrated record of maximizing business performance and meeting sales targets.
• Strong understanding of key customer segments and ability to guide the team accordingly.
• Proactive decision‑making, identifying critical paths and convening stakeholders for timely actions.
• Comfortable making hard decisions and knowing when to delegate.
