Store Manager - Sports Retail

About the role

GMG Group is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its sports retail outlet in Fujairah. The role combines operational oversight, visual merchandising, and team development to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate store targets, motivate the team and achieve financial objectives.
• Maintain loss‑prevention standards, cash‑handling controls and fraud safeguards.
• Oversee POS activities, including transactions, returns, refunds and inventory updates.
• Manage cash, petty cash and POS floats; audit store administration regularly.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and implement corrective actions.
• Track brand sales performance, analyse market trends and propose action plans.
• Maintain window and in‑store displays according to merchandising guidelines.
• Coordinate inventory management: ordering, stock movement, ageing, loss and space optimisation.
• Plan staffing levels, schedules and shift coverage for seasonal peaks.
• Coach, mentor and develop the store team, applying structured performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 5‑7 years retail experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Fluent English; Russian or Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong commercial, analytical and customer‑orientation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Loss prevention, inventory management and cash‑handling expertise.
