Stores Manager - Aircraft Parts & Maintenance Supplies

About the role

Air Arabia is looking for a Stores Manager in Sharjah to oversee the storage and logistics of aircraft parts and maintenance materials, ensuring they are available on time for aircraft maintenance operations. The role manages efficient, cost-effective supply chain operations, optimises inventory control and material distribution to minimise aircraft downtime, and keeps all storage, handling and logistics activities compliant with aviation regulations, approved quality standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control inventory of aircraft parts, tools and materials in storage facilities, ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance with aviation regulations.
• Plan, coordinate and optimise logistics for procurement, storage and distribution of maintenance supplies, delivering them on time through in-house channels or external service providers.
• Liaise with contracted suppliers and vendors, and internal stakeholders, to ensure quality and timely availability of parts and materials.
• Ensure storage and handling comply with regulatory requirements (GCAA and Hubs CAA) and company policies, keeping accurate records and documentation for audits.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for stores operations, logistics planning and inventory control.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency in the maintenance supply chain.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols in storage facilities and logistics operations.
• Provide direction, coaching and guidance to team members, and foster a performance-driven, engaged team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance logistics, inventory management or a related role in the aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (EASA, GCAA, etc.).

Required skills

• Familiarity with maintenance management software such as AMOS and TRAX.
• Inventory control and logistics planning.
