Strategic Security Advisor

About the role

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, is hiring a Strategic Security Advisor in Dubai. The role owns business and security outcomes, value realization and renewal and expansion readiness for a portfolio of strategic customers. It combines security domain expertise with customer success discipline, turning purchased credits into measurable security outcomes through a Security Account Success Plan, architecture-aligned burn curve and executive engagement cadence.

Key responsibilities

• Build the Account Success Plan and burn curve with customer executives, aligned to business objectives, threat landscape and prioritized workloads
• Design target-state security architecture and conduct gap analyses, technology fingerprinting and architecture reviews
• Ensure rapid time-to-value and identify expansion opportunities such as credit top-ups and multi-year commitments
• Lead monthly value reviews, QBRs and EBRs, and run security workshops such as threat hunting, CTFs and tabletop exercises
• Maintain renewal health and convert successful customers into references, case studies and whitepapers
• Serve as the single post-sales security authority, coordinating Customer Success, Support, Professional Services and partners
• Provide architecture insights to Product, Engineering and leadership

Required profile

• Typically 10+ years in security consulting, cloud security, security architecture, incident response or security leadership
• Proven track record managing enterprise accounts with measurable impact on retention, expansion and security outcomes
• Experience running QBRs/EBRs and with partners, MSSPs or MSPs is a plus
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or CRISC strongly preferred

• Enterprise security architecture frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust)
• One or more security domains: SOC, SIEM/XDR, exposure and risk management, identity, cloud security (CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP), email security
• B2B SaaS and cybersecurity platform business models
• Executive presence with CISOs and security architects
