Structural Analysis Engineer II

About the role

The Structural Analysis Engineer II will lead stress and vibration analysis of gas turbine components for turbojet and turbofan programs. The role combines mechanical design expertise with project planning and mentorship of junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability and cost.
• Perform thermo‑mechanical, creep, fatigue, fracture, vibration and rotodynamic simulations across design conditions.
• Conduct FMECA, stress assessments, low‑cycle and high‑cycle fatigue analyses.
• Support FEA methodology development and review engineering reports and testing guidelines.

Required profile

• Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree with 5‑15+ years of experience.
• Strong background in gas‑turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity and heat transfer.
• Fluent English and ability to communicate technical results to teams and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX.
• Expertise with commercial FEA software (ANSYS, HyperWorks, Simcenter Nastran, etc.).
• Programming experience in C, MATLAB/Simulink or similar.
