Structural Engineer

About the role

Pearl City Construction is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis activities for a variety of construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality structural solutions while ensuring compliance with international codes and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design hollow‑core slabs, shoring systems, PT‑slab systems, culverts, and retaining walls using software such as WALLAP, REWARD, ADAPT, RAM CONCEPT, and CONCISE BEAM.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and BIM models (Revit Structure) for all structural elements.
• Perform seismic and wind analysis for mid‑rise to high‑rise concrete buildings in accordance with American codes using ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Conduct structural steel analysis and design following American and British codes with SAP2000 and STAAD Pro.
• Monitor project productivity, forecast trends, and coordinate with department heads, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare structural design approvals, liaise with municipal authorities, and manage legal formalities.
• Visit construction sites for inspections and ensure compliance with contractual specifications.
• Write technical reports and official correspondence for clients and project managers.
• Support HR in technical interviews for the structural engineering department.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of American and British structural codes.
• Ability to lead design teams and stay updated with industry developments.
