About the role
The CSE Engineer (Product) provides technical expertise to match customer needs with the optimal KONE product, covering elevators, escalators and autowalks. The role manages engineering work from concept through hand‑over to maintenance, ensuring cost‑effective, compliant solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales to select the optimal KONE product for non‑standard projects and ensure competitive offers.
- Develop detailed product specifications, costings, lead‑time and installability analyses for elevators, escalators and autowalks.
- Conduct technical site surveys, verify compliance with local codes and KONE engineering policies, and support hand‑over to maintenance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience in the elevator industry and proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an asset.
Required skills
- AutoCAD for technical drawings.
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Technical knowledge of elevators, escalators and machine‑room‑less solutions.
