Superintendent - Construction (EIT)

About the role

Direct Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunications construction across assigned areas, coordinating resources and interfaces to achieve safe system completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supervisors and subcontractors delivering electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications installations.
• Plan area priorities, manpower and equipment against construction and system completion milestones.
• Coordinate cable containment, cable installation, equipment erection, instrument installation and related interfaces.
• Confirm engineering, material, access and permit readiness before releasing work fronts.
• Monitor productivity, contractor performance and short‑term recovery actions.
• Coordinate inspections, testing readiness and punch clearance with QA/QC and commissioning teams.
• Enforce permit, isolation and energization controls within the approved authorization structure.
• Report progress, constraints and completion risks to construction management.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
• 12+ years in EIT construction, including 5+ years in site leadership or superintendent responsibilities.
