Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Jaheziya is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and supply chain functions for emergency services and operational projects. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, purchasing and logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods, equipment and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities, including sourcing, tendering, purchasing and logistics.
• Manage RFQs, RFPs and tenders, evaluate suppliers and conduct negotiations.
• Source technical and operational requirements such as PPE, firefighting and rescue equipment, vehicles, specialist tools, spare parts and operational supplies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers and service providers.
• Oversee supplier agreements, performance, lead times and continuity of supply.
• Support project mobilisation by ensuring critical equipment and services are available on schedule.
• Provide supplier quotations, cost inputs and lead-time validation for bids and projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supply chain risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, technical procurement and project mobilisation.
• Experience operating in the UAE/GCC with local and international suppliers of technical equipment.
• Preferably experienced in emergency services, fire & rescue, defence, oil & gas, industrial services or government contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Commerce, Finance or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or CSCP are a plus.
