Systems Engineer - Telco

About the role

Fortinet is looking for a Systems Engineer for its Telco MSP Solutions and Multi-Cloud Security offering, based in Dubai, UAE. The role establishes relationships with Telco/MSP and large-scale enterprise customers on behalf of Fortinet and maintains and grows business with install base partners and customers. It provides pre-sales support to the Account Management team, with a focus on Telco, MSP and multi-cloud security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of a portfolio business plan that maximizes Telco, MSP and multi-cloud security revenues.
• Ensure partner and customer satisfaction remains at the highest level.
• Support account plans focused on client relationship development, growth and retention within the install base and with net-new customers and partners.
• Help find and develop profitable new accounts in a channel-driven way and build proactive plans that generate pipeline.
• Keep close knowledge of clients' businesses and the Fortinet portfolio to align upselling and cross-selling.
• Produce quarterly and annual business and activity plans, and develop profit-improvement plans.
• Communicate Fortinet's sales and marketing objectives to partners and customers.
• Build MSSP solutions tailored to MSP customer needs and regulatory agency guidelines.
• Work with third-party advisory organizations and attend vendor meetings for possible Security Fabric integrations.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, RFP templates, proof-of-concept guides and channel training materials.
• Analyze competitive solutions and give competitive insight to regional account managers.

Required profile

• Overall strong technical expertise with good communication skills.
• Qualified and experienced in Telco environments, software-defined concepts and managed services.
• Understanding of current and future technologies such as private and public clouds, telco-grade 4G/5G security, virtualization and microservices.
• Proof-of-value approach with integration and automation know-how.
• Ability to understand and enable innovation for each partner and customer.
• Security vendor experience is desirable but not required.
