About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join The Aquila School and deliver “amazing learning” experiences. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, safeguarding pupils and contributing to the school community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that promote active learning.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children at all times.
- Lead and participate in CAS activities, staff training and community events.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to school policies, performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support marketing and community outreach to increase pupil numbers.
Required profile
- Credible teaching experience across a range of subjects.
- Ability to make lessons engaging, relevant and inclusive.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships within the school community.
- Initiative, flexibility, positivity and a proactive attitude.
