About the role
Liwa International School in Falaj Hazza, Al Ain is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering classroom activities. The position is open to UAE nationals only.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering classroom activities
- Assist students with learning activities and classroom routines
- Provide general care and support to students as directed by the teacher
- Prepare classroom materials and resources
- Support small-group and individual activities
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Assist with student supervision and classroom organisation
- Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures
Required profile
- UAE national
- Minimum QFE Level 4 certificate, in line with ADEK's Teacher Assistant eligibility requirement
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with children or in a school environment
Required skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and teachers
