Team Lead, Quality and Revenue Assurance

About the role

DSV, a global transport and logistics company, is hiring a Team Lead for Quality and Revenue Assurance in its Global Projects & Industry Solutions, Air & Sea unit in Abu Dhabi. The role coordinates daily with the operations team, clients and the accounts department so that client invoices are raised and dispatched on time for completed jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and review unbilled and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate daily with Operations to obtain job files, supporting documentation and billing information.
• Verify customer charges against contracts, purchase orders and approved quotations before invoicing.
• Allocate accounts and projects to the billing team, monitor progress and ensure invoices meet KPI timelines.
• Maintain valid customer contracts and purchase orders, including renewals and extensions.
• Ensure invoices use the correct charge codes and billing terms, and that all costs are posted or accrued before final invoices.
• Obtain approvals for loss-making jobs, credit notes and other billing adjustments.
• Act as the main contact for billing enquiries and disputes, resolving them with Operations, Finance and Sales, and working with Accounts Receivable on payment issues.
• Prepare monthly reports on invoice performance, credit notes, billing status and KPIs, and propose improvements to billing processes.
• Monitor customer account financials and Statements of Account to keep balances accurate and reduce overdue receivables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting in a similar capacity.
