Team Leader - Credit Card Sales

About the role

Sharaf DG is hiring a Team Leader in Dubai to lead, motivate and manage a team of Sales Executives who acquire new credit card customers. The role centres on meeting sales targets, complying with banking regulations and internal policies, keeping productivity high and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate the team; allocate territories and daily tasks, monitor attendance, productivity and discipline, and run daily briefings, coaching and performance reviews.
• Mentor new joiners and support their onboarding and field training.
• Drive the team to monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, develop customer acquisition strategies and identify new business through field sales, corporate visits and referrals.
• Monitor daily sales activity, ensure effective lead conversion and high-quality sales with minimal application rejections.
• Track individual and team performance against KPIs, analyse sales reports, give corrective action plans and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, verify documentation accuracy, uphold ethical selling and KYC requirements, and protect customer confidentiality.
• Handle escalated customer issues professionally and maintain good relationships with customers and internal banking stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Operations, Credit Processing and Bank Relationship Managers, follow up on application status and ensure timely submission of sales documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma (preferred).
• Certification in Sales or Banking is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
