Team Leader - Mobile Development

About the role

Binghatti, a fast-growing Dubai-based property brand, is looking for a Team Leader for its mobile engineering team. The role is accountable for the architecture, quality and delivery of the iOS and Android applications, including the Binghatti Sphere consumer platform and the Binghatti Matrix sales and CRM app. It combines hands-on Flutter development with people leadership, covering engineering standards, the release pipeline and secure integration of payments, digital identity and enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the mobile engineering team, set priorities, allocate work and run performance reviews and development planning.
• Plan and run Agile sprints, give technical estimates and track progress against the product roadmap.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding engineers and build technical capability and succession.
• Own the Flutter architecture: modular, feature-first codebase with defined state management, networking layers and separate development, staging and production environments.
• Define and enforce coding standards, code review practices and reusable components, and stay hands-on on complex features and critical issues.
• Integrate secure in-app payments (Adyen, Checkout.com, TotalPay, Apple Pay) and digital onboarding and KYC flows, and connect apps to backend services, APIs, CRM and ERP.
• Ensure compliance with information security, data protection and payment security requirements.
• Own the mobile release pipeline and CI/CD, including App Store and Play submissions, versioning, store compliance and staged rollouts, and partner with QA on testing and release sign-off.
• Monitor live apps via analytics, crash reporting and performance tools, lead incident resolution and deliver fully bilingual English and Arabic experiences with RTL support.
• Work with business stakeholders and product owners, collaborate with Creative & Experience on UI/UX, and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 7+ years of mobile application development, including at least 2 years leading a mobile engineering team, with a track record of shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Preferred: experience in real estate, proptech or fintech, and Agile or software project management certification.

Required skills

• Flutter and Dart, with working knowledge of Swift and Kotlin.
• Mobile architecture, state management (e.g. BLoC), modular codebases and RESTful API integration.
• Payment gateway and identity/KYC integration in regulated apps.
• CI/CD for mobile, Git, JIRA, Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging), deep linking.
• Arabic RTL localisation, mobile security standards and app store guidelines.
